Frequently asked questions about educational services:

English Lessons:

Where in the UK can Twin organise English lessons for groups?
We have our own Schools of English in Eastbourne, Salisbury & Lewisham and can offer language courses for groups in our three schools. However we can also organise English lessons in other cities around the UK including Cardiff, Edinburgh, Plymouth and Worthing to name but a few.
What is the maximum number of students per class?
15 students per class.
What kind of courses can you offer?
We can offer General English at all levels. If you have a specialised project or subject and would like a tailor-made training programme for your groups we would be delighted to arrange lessons to suit your groups requirements. We often organise English lessons with a particular emphasis on weak areas such as grammar, listening skills etc.
When do lessons take place?
Lessons usually take place in the morning from 09h30 – 12h30, but lessons can also be arranged in the afternoon.
How many hours of English can I book?
We are flexible, but do ask you to book a minimum of 6 hours (2 mornings). Lessons should usually be arrange for consecutive days. However if you wish to book a shorter course please do contact us and we will see if it is possible.

School Visits & Integration Programme:

What age range of students can this programme be organised for?
This programme can be organised for all students of secondary school age (from 11-18 years).
What time of year is this programme available?
This programme is available throughout the academic year from September – mid July. Please note that it is sometimes restricted in the month of May and June because this is examination period for British schools.
Where in the UK can this be arranged?
Visits can be arranged to schools through England & Wales.
What kind of schools can our group visit?
We work with a wide variety of schools from state-run schools to private schools. When you book a school visit we will ask you to provide information about your group and your school so that we can arrange a visit to a British school which most suits your group.
What are the school rules?
Each school will have its own set of rules, but all schools operate a non-smoking policy. Please also note that most students at most British schools wear a uniform, so we do ask our groups to dress smartly. When the school visit is booked and confirmed we will advise you of the specific school rules, which we do ask your students to observe.
