Frequently asked questions about hotel accommodation:
 |
What kind of hotel accommodation can Twin provide for groups? |
| Twin work with a wide range of hotels from budget hostel type properties with multi bedded dormitory style rooms through to 4 star hotels. It is important to advise us of the ages of the students so that we can select the correct type of accommodation (some budget hotels are only suitable for older students). It is also useful to advise us whether the group require rooms with en-suite bathrooms or not. |
Is breakfast included in the price? |
| Continental breakfast is included in our prices. At some hotels English breakfast may be available at a supplement. Please note that some smaller hotels will have to arrange 2 or more different time slots for larger groups, as often their restaurant/breakfast room can only accommodate a certain maximum number. |
Why do some hotels charge group leaders for a damage deposit? |
Some of the hotels we work with charge groups a “damage deposit” which is payable by the group leader on arrival either in cash or by credit card. The deposit is usually £150 - £200 per group. This payment is fully refundable at the end of the stay as long as no damage has been caused by the group.
Not all hotels ask for a damage deposit, you will always be advised at time of booking if the hotel your group has chosen does ask for this deposit. |
Can Twin arrange for groups to have packed lunches or dinner at the hotel? |
| Yes, most of the hotels we work with have a restaurant which can provide dinner for the group, some hotels also offer packed lunches for groups. If the hotel you have chosen does not have a restaurant Twin can book restaurants either close to your hotel or in central London at very competitive prices. We also work with a company who can deliver packed lunches all over London! Please contact us for details and prices. |
Do all hotels offer left-luggage facilities for groups? |
| Most do – if you require this service (for example because of a late flight on departure day) please ask at the time of booking and we will advise if the hotel can provide this facility. |
What time can we check-in? |
| Usually between 12h00 and 14h00. Most hotels have left luggage facilities for groups to store their luggage if they arrive earlier than check-in time. |
